PTE Academic: Viewing and Sending scores made Painless
In keeping with the motif of the exam, scores for the PTE Test of English will not be sent via post or other means of printed documents. Instead, scores will be available online, not only to aid in easy access, but also to simplify the process of sending these scores to Universities abroad. You will be intimated by email when your PTE Academic scores are updated on your account for viewing.
Simple steps to view your score:
sign into your PTE Academic India account.
Fill in the boxes for username and password with the appropriate information. Remember that this information is case sensitive, and the system will not overlook the use of uppercase letters instead of lowercase, and vice versa.
Once logged in, the ‘Current Activities’ tab will display a list of tests that have been attempted previously. Click on the test for which you wish to view your score and Walla! Your Pearson’s test of English score is at your disposal!
To send scores to Universities:
Click on the tab for ‘Current Activities’, which will be present on the left of your screen.
Next click on the tab that reads ‘Send Scores’, beside the appropriate test, to dispatch scores to Universities.
On doing so you will be issued a list of Universities that accept PTE scores for English proficiency testing. You are allowed to choose 7 universities per order. Pick wisely and hit the ‘Next’ button after finalizing your choices.
This will lead you to a page that will show your contact details. If any of these details are incorrect, please ‘Update your profile’ before clicking ‘Next’.
The final confirmation page will contain all the entered details of your order. Ensure that there are no discrepancies, because this is your final chance to make any changes. If you are satisfied with your personal details and choices, click ‘Confirm Order’.
As a confirmation of the dispatch you will receive an email. You can print this page and hold on to it as a receipt until you are satisfied that the universities of your choice have received your PTE scores.
Apart from the ease of testing, the ease of viewing scores and their dispatch, PTE Academic’s popularity is reaching unprecedented heights because of its relatively cheap price. In comparison to IELTS, which will cost you Rs.11,100, PTE’s price of Rs.10,990 may not seem considerably lower. However, AECC Global has gone the extra mile to further reduce the price of testing to Rs.9,810. However, you will have to use a credit card to book this test.
