The Dos and Don’ts for your PTE exam

PTE Academic has revolutionized the English testing department. With its intricate testing system and lenient grading, students are thoroughly impressed with this PTE test of English. However, even the best of games have rules that need to be followed. Here is the list of rights and rules that has made PTE the most sought after English test by students the world over:

You will receive a booklet for rough work on entering the exam hall. Use it after the test has begun and raise your hand to ask for another, if need be.
Keep your ID handy. It will be checked electronically every time you reenter the PTE exam hall.
None of your personal items will be allowed inside the exam hall. Anything required will be provided as long as it seems relevant to the test.
Audio and video surveillance will keep the test cheat-free at all times.
You will be allowed a ten-minute break on completion of the second part of your test. Use it if required.
In case of an emergency please raise your hand to draw the attention of the invigilator. You will be permitted to take a break.
During this break you can access your personal belongings. However, the invigilator will ensure that you do not use anything that can be used as a means to cheat. E.g. you can medicate yourself as required, but you cannot use your cell phone.
In the rare case of encountering software or hardware glitches, raise your hand to summon the examiner. He/she will resolve the issue.
You cannot leave the PTE exam hall with copies of test questions or answers.
Any attempt to meddle with the system will be viewed as malpractice and could result in your immediate expulsion.
There is no provision to go back after answering a question. Make sure you are fully confident of your answer before clicking “Next”.

Following the above instructions will give you the peace of mind to concentrate on your exam. The PTE Academic India is an easy exam. You do not need to cheat to do well. Prepare well, concentrate on your exam and you will come out with flying colours. The PTE Academic is the cheapest exam in the department.
