TOEFL Registration Process
Online
- Sign-up on the ETS website to begin registration.
- Make sure that the name you use in registration exactly matches with the identification that you’ll bring on the exam day.
- After registration, click on “Register for a Test” on the home page after logging in.
- Choose a date for the test.

Note: The TOEFL registration system works only on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. It is not compatible with Safari. Windows users can use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox on Windows 7 or higher operating system.
Through Mail
- Download and fill TOEFL registration form from the ETS website.
- Choose a payment method listed in the form.
- Send registration form with payment on the address mentioned in the form.
- Forms must be received before four weeks of the test date.
- If you don’t receive any confirmation before three days of the registration deadline, call at the regional registration centre.
- You need to enter some codes manually if you register through the mail.
Through Phone
- Have a look at the registration form before calling at the TOEFL registration centre.
- To get the number of the Regional Registration Centre, go to the ETS website and select your location.
- The payment can be made through VISA credit and debit card.
- Remember, that the registration will close before seven days of the test date. Late registration closes at 5 p.m. before the day of the test date with a late registration fee of 40 USD.
